Dangerous Steve

The Dangerous Steve show will  astound you. Steve is a one man street theatre entertainer who knows how to get the audience involved with his knockabout humour.  And, you won't believe what he can do with his chainsaws...

The American Civil War Society

The ACWS has been entertaining and educating audiences about the American Civil War since 1975. Visit their living history encampment, watch their drill and battle re-enactments, and listen out for the really won't miss it!

Flambe Circus Theatre

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at the diablo, juggling, plate spinning or stilt walking?  Now is your chance! The folks from Flambe will be running circus skills workshops throughout the weekend.

Woodie's Wings Parrot and Owl Rescue

Woodie's Wings look after beautiful captive-bred birds who can no longer be cared for by their original owners.  The friendly  team are always happy to chat about about the feathered characters they care for.

Mr Juggler

Mr Juggler is a regular and popular visitor to Moira Canal Festival.  Children are enchanted by his Punch and Judy shows and his balloon creations.

Emma's Crafty Kids

Emma's Crafty Kids has been providing make and take away craft activities and outdoor games at the Moira Canal Festival since 2007. Drop-in all weekend for crafty family fun!

Shreck the Boat Horse

Say hello to Shreck, the 10 year-old heavy draught horse. Look out for the horse boat towing demonstrations over the weekend.

Dance Sides

Fabulous dance sides visiting the festival over the weekend are Clerical Error, Willington Morris, Black Pig (Sat), Ryknild Rabble (Sun) and Restless Soles Appelachian dancers (Sun). They will be performing in the Courtyard and in the Furnace arena.

The Grateful Dads

This Lichfield based, five-piece band will be bringing their mature good looks and rock'n'roll covers back to the festival again in 2018.  They'll be getting folks up on their feet in the Arena over the weekend.

Jinx are a Derbyshire based accoustic duo who love to entertain a crown.  They have a wide repertoir and cover a variety of genres.  Listen out for them in the Entertainment marquee.

Ukulele Central UK are a community group from the Solihull area, who enjoy getting together to play their Ukuleles! They'll be bringing their infectious enthusiasm to the Entertainment Marquee during the weekend!
